Join a Shared Pack
Choose “Join a Care Team,” enter the code from the owner or scan their QR pass, add your name and role, and continue through sign-in.
Before you start
- Ask the Shared Pack owner for the current invite code or QR pass.
- Each member needs a signed-in Petive account on iPhone.
Steps
Choose Join a Care Team
During onboarding, choose “Join a Care Team” on the first setup choice screen.
Enter or scan the invite
Type the code in “Invite Code,” or tap “Scan” and point the camera at the owner’s QR pass. Camera permission is only required for scanning.
Add your name and role
Enter the name that other caregivers should recognize and choose the role that best describes your part in the care team.
Tap Continue and sign in
Continue through the account step. Petive validates the invitation and connects your account to the Shared Pack.
What happens next
The shared pets and synchronized care activity become available to your account when the invitation is valid and the connection completes.
Good to know
- A Shared Pack supports up to four members total, including the owner.
- Shared Pack requires Petive VIP on the household and connectivity for new shared updates.
Troubleshooting
The code is not accepted
Check every character, ask the owner to copy the current code again, and confirm the pack has an open member slot.
The camera does not open
Enter the code manually, or allow camera access for Petive in iPhone Settings.
