Update a pet profile
Open Pets, choose the pet, open their profile controls, update the details that changed, and save. Petive keeps care and health information attached to the selected pet.
Steps
Open Pets
Tap Pets in the bottom navigation and choose the profile you want to update. Confirm the pet’s name and photo before changing anything.
Open the profile editor
Use the pet profile’s edit control to open the editable details.
Update the details
Change the name, species, breed, birthday, current weight, allergies, or photo that needs correcting. Keep health wording factual and current.
Save the profile
Tap Save and return to the pet profile to confirm the updated information appears.
What happens next
The updated profile details appear for that pet throughout Petive and remain separate from other pets’ records.

- Petive Free supports one pet. Petive VIP supports up to three pets.
- A Petive profile is owner-managed and is not official identification or a veterinary clinic record.
Troubleshooting
The wrong pet was changed
Return to Pets, select the correct profile, and update it. Review the other profile and correct any accidental changes.
