The story of Petive starts like many other dog ownership stories: with confusion over whether the dog had been fed. When I adopted Luna, a spirited rescue dog, I quickly found that coordinating care between family members was much harder than it should be.

Our group text was a mess of "did you feed Luna?" and "did she get her medication?". We looked for a shared pet care app to solve this, but everything on the App Store was either overly complex, required clunky hardware, or was filled with intrusive ads.

So we built Petive. We wanted a quiet, reliable tool that simply got out of the way and let us focus on what actually mattered: spending time with our dog.
