Can I use Petive as a pet medication reminder app?
Yes. Enter the medication schedule and the exact dose wording or instructions supplied by your veterinarian or pharmacy. Petive reminds you and records completion, but it does not choose the medicine or dose.
Can Petive remind me every 12 hours?
Yes. Petive supports interval schedules in hours or days, so a caregiver can enter a 12-hour recurrence when it matches the veterinarian's or pharmacy's written instructions.
Can I use Petive reminders if I am the only caregiver?
Yes. Care Reminders work for a solo owner without Shared Pack. Sharing is optional and does not need to be enabled to schedule or complete reminders.
What can I do when a Petive reminder appears?
You can open Petive to record the care, mark the task done from a supported notification, or snooze it for 30 minutes. Completed care is added to the pet’s timeline.
Will every caregiver receive the same reminder?
Not necessarily. Reminder settings and notification permission are device-based, so do not assume another caregiver received the same alert. Use the shared care history to confirm recorded completion.
Can I include the prescribed dose in the reminder?
Yes. A medication schedule can include a dose label and instructions entered by the caregiver. Always copy the veterinarian's or pharmacy's directions exactly.
Does Petive tell me what dose to give?
No. Petive organizes the instructions you enter and does not calculate, recommend, or change medication doses.
