How Petive creates, reviews, updates, and corrects educational pet-care content.

Every article names its responsible author or editorial team. First-hand stories are labeled as editorial narratives unless a verified contributor is named and permission is documented.
Sources
Health and safety guidance should favor current veterinary organizations, veterinary schools, government agencies, peer-reviewed research, and manufacturer instructions where appropriate. Sources must support the specific claim beside them.
Veterinary review
Medication, hydration, symptoms, food transitions, stool frequency, and other health or safety guidance must receive review from a named, credentialed veterinarian before displaying a “DVM reviewed” label. Petive will never imply veterinary review when that review has not occurred.
Safety boundaries
Petive content is educational. It does not diagnose, prescribe, calculate medication doses, or replace advice from a veterinarian who has examined the animal. Urgent symptoms and possible poisoning require immediate professional help.
Product claims
Feature, price, limit, platform, privacy, and availability statements are checked against the app and the maintained product-claim sheet before publication. Planned capabilities are not described as available.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections update the page’s modified date. Readers can report an error or outdated source at [email protected]. We review credible reports and correct supported errors promptly.
Commercial independence
Product use-case pages explain where Petive fits and where it does not. Educational conclusions are not changed to make the app appear medically authoritative. See the product features for current capabilities and limits.
